In the UK, the worlds of investing and philanthropy are treated as adjacent but separate tracks — but why?

So begins Georgie Murrin’s article “Closing the Gap between Investing and Giving: How Digital Wealth Platforms can Normalise Philanthropy,” featured in Philanthropy Impact’s latest magazine. Georgie argues that emerging adviser-platform technology can make charitable giving a core element of modern wealth stewardship. 💰

The Global Returns Project’s partnership with Fundment is an example of today’s shift in value-driven investment strategies.. In this partnership, donors can partake in integrated donation flows and adviser-facilitated withdrawals from Fundment’s platform, coupled with impact reporting from the Global Returns Project, which provides the same clarity and accountability that investors expect from their other investments.

Beyond client convenience, we need to redefine what responsible wealth management looks like in the face of today’s climate crisis. As such, we are proud to continue working with Fundment on a meaningful partnership for the fields of philanthropy and investment alike.
