We’re excited to share our FY25 Annual Report – the results speak volumes this year. Thanks to your support, GRP has raised nearly £1.5 million to-date for high-impact climate and nature charities.
Unlocking new philanthropy
In the past financial year alone, we raised £586k for our charities, representing a 50% increase from the previous year (p.4). We have developed accredited CPD adviser training (p.20), we repositioned ourselves as a Beyond Value Chain Mitigation option (p.18), bringing in new corporate partnerships, and finally, we launched our Ambassador program (p.24).
Our Ambassador program is designed to build bridges across industries and sectors. The initiative brings together professionals committed to climate philanthropy, including wealth managers, legal experts, architects and sustainability leaders. So far, nine Ambassadors have joined the movement. Ambassador George King IV said, “Climate and nature giving is a natural starting point because it matters to everyone, everywhere.” To learn more and get involved, please reply to this email.
Delivering urgent solutions
This year’s report presents our collective impact across thematic areas for the first time, offering a clearer picture of what GRP funding has achieved (p.32). To date, we’ve helped prevent the release of over 87 million tonnes of CO₂e through forest protection alone, the equivalent of taking more than 18 million cars off the road for a year.
In 2024-25, GRP donors helped halt deforestation in Brazil’s cattle supply chains, supported a landmark legal case blocking a gas platform in Italy, and helped secure six new fishing bans around African penguin breeding sites. We’ve also backed efforts to restore Kenya’s forests with 94% tree survival rates, funded five new marine protected areas for whales and dolphins, and helped enable high-level advocacy in the EU to protect biodiversity through supply chain reform (p. 32-43).
Looking ahead
We’ve proven what’s possible, but we can do so much more. With your continued support, we’re working to unlock £10 million in climate philanthropy by 2028, multiplying the impact of every donation we receive. This year’s Annual Report captures a pivotal moment in that journey. We invite you to read it in full below, explore the global stories you’ve helped make possible, and consider how you might deepen your involvement as a donor, a partner, or an advocate for change.
Thank you for being part of this growing movement for hope and impact. We can’t wait to show you what comes next.
