Turning generosity into measurable impact

Our model is built to unlock new philanthropy. Here’s how it works — clearly, transparently, and with impact at every step.

  • Expert-led: guided by the world’s top climate scientists

  • Transparent: fully evidenced and impact-measured

  • Efficient: 100% of donations reach the front line

  • Collective: each donor amplifies the effect of many others

  • Hopeful: transforming despair into action, and action into measurable progress

Our process

Our team of experts and scientists continually assess more than 20,000 climate and nature charities worldwide.

Using our proprietary assessment framework — built around impact, scalability, networks and co-benefits — we identify six outstanding organisations tackling the biggest environmental challenges across land, sea and atmosphere.

These charities include those protecting rainforests and oceans, enforcing environmental law, restoring ecosystems and holding polluters to account.
Every six months, we reassess their progress and publish updated impact data.

Our Technical Advisory Board includes world-class climate scientists such as Prof Joanna Haigh CBE FRS and Prof Yadvinder Malhi CBE FRS.

Our portfolio brings together complementary solutions across five categories of climate action:

– Reducing greenhouse gas emissions
– Supporting carbon sinks
– Protecting and enhancing life on land
– Protecting and enhancing life below water
– Advancing climate information and communication

This ensures your giving is diversified, balanced, and strategically targeted — spanning the full range of interventions needed to restore the planet.

Every six months, we measure our portfolio’s overall performance through two proprietary metrics:

– Global Returns Rate (GRR): a combined score of overall impact, scalability and co-benefits.

– Portfolio Diversity: the range of climate actions addressed, currently at 55.7% of all known effective interventions.

Whether you give as an individual, through your company, or via your financial adviser, GRP ensures that 100% of your donation goes directly to the charities in our portfolio.

We take no fees and make no deductions.

Our separate operating fund — supported by our core partners and donors — covers the running costs of our work, allowing your entire gift to go where it matters most.

Transparency is at the heart of everything we do.

We publish detailed Impact Reports every six months, showing what your donations have achieved across the portfolio:

– Rainforests protected
– Oceans restored
– Species saved
– Carbon emissions avoided
– Environmental laws enforced

These are real results — verified through our partner charities’ data and independently reviewed by our experts.

Every donor receives updates that make the impact of their giving visible and meaningful.

The more people who give through GRP, the faster we can accelerate change.

Our goal is to unlock £10 million for high-impact charities by 2028, supporting work across every continent and ecosystem.

Each donation, large or small, contributes to a growing movement for planetary recovery.
