A joint venture between three of the world’s largest conservation organizations, Trillion Trees will ensure one trillion trees have been re-grown, saved from loss, and better protected by 2050.
The Trillion Trees ReForest Fund has supported the re-planting and regrowing of forest on the slopes of Mount Kenya, the coastal forests of Tanzania, and the mountains of Madagascar. And that’s just the beginning - many other reforestation efforts include projects in Peru, Brazil and Papua New Guinea.
The ReForest Fund replants or regrows forest in places where it has been lost. In all cases, they prioritise the restoration of natural forest, address the drivers of forest loss and involve local people in decision making.
